Ken Law – Founder & CEO
Ken co-founded MotherApp with Leo Chan in 2005. Previously, Ken was a member of Google’s original engineering team in 1999. Ken developed a patented algorithm to find related pages. He also led a project that allowed Google to evaluate its quality in real time. Ken holds a BS in Computer Science from The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Leo Chan – Founder & President
Leo Chan co-founded MotherApp with Ken Law. Prior to MotherApp, Leo was a serial entrepreneur who started several companies in the telecom and computer software industries. Leo was a pioneer in Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) development for global world leading banks and telecom carriers. From 2002 to 2005 he also led major information technology projects funded by the Hong Kong Government. Leo holds a BS in Computer Science from The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
Hang Wong – CTO
Hang Wong was the company’s first employee and built the first prototype of the MotherApp Generator with Ken Law. He started his first company that focused on web development when he was in high school. Hang holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Hau Man Chow – Vice President of Operations
Hau Man oversees all revenue and customer operations, as well as product marketing and strategic partnerships. Before joining MotherApp, Hau Man was a founding member of Google North America's Sales Organization, which he joined in 2000. During his eight years at Google, Hau Man successfully established Google AdWords advertising network in North America. He then led the effort to pioneer Google’s sales and operations in the Asia/Pacific region, where he brought in strategic partners to benefit Google’s growing number of users and advertisers. Hau Man holds a BS in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
Joseph Ng - Vice President of Business Development
Joseph Ng has been a serial entrepreneur involved in building and achieving liquidity events for two technology startups, including one that achieved a market capitalization of $500 million. From 2008 to 2009, Joseph was the CFO of the Chic Group in Shanghai and from 2006 to 2008, he was the CFO of Lucix Corporation. From 2001 to 2005, Joseph was the Vice President of Business Development and the Chief Financial Officer of Rae Systems, a public company in California. Prior to that, Joseph held executive positions at Hewlett-Packard and Applied Optoelectronic Technology Corporation. Joseph received a B.S. in Accounting from Baruch College and a M.A. in History from Stanford University.
Rob Moyer – Vice President and General Manager, Americas
Rob is responsible for building MotherApp’s channels and managing the Americas region. Prior to joining MotherApp, Rob was Director of US Distribution for Microsoft, where he turned around a business in decline into one of Microsoft's strongest channel assets. Before that, Rob held various executive channel positions at companies such as Wyse Technology, Siebel Systems and Ingram Micro. Rob holds a BA in Political Science from CSU, San Marcos.
Joseph Yan – Managing Director, Japan
Joe has 10 years experience in Japan IT industry and prior to joining MotherApp, Joe was a director responsible for managing customer services across Siemens in Asia Pacific. His background also includes global services leadership roles at Siebel | Oracle and Microsoft. Joe received a Computing degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an MBA distinction from Birmingham Business School, UK
